One of the best ingredients you could have in a homemade conditioner! Rice Bran oil, extracted from the husk of rice, is rich in monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and saturated fatty acids. This makes up its nourishing, moisturizing components for skin and hair alike. Our 100% pure Rice Bran Oil also blends well with other oils and products, making it ideal for uses like cold process soap, hair oils, leave-in conditioner, and in place of more expensive oils such as avocado oil and argan oil.

I purchased this oil because someone wrote a great review about how much the loved it on their hair. I tried it on my hair and it left it greasy looking. However, I just started using babassu oil on my hair and it's absolutely AMAZING. Leaves my hair shiny, silky and managable w/no frizz. It left my hands feeling that way as well after putting it in my hair...minus the frizz factor, lol

I make beeswax skin care products and use Rice Bran Oil in many of them. RBO has been used for generations in Japan for skin care and it has not failed in my products.
I like the fact I can get it in easy to handle "gallon" jugs.
This last order did have a little oil splash from a not 100% sealed safety label but not harm the product.
The only "ah, gee" negative is that there is a lot of settling of a residue in the containers. It really needs to be strained again. -

Rice Bran Oil
I use BA oils in my soap recipes. I am an amateur soap maker, make it for my family not for sale. I like rice bran in one of my recipes. All oils and fragrance oils I have purchased from BA have worked in my soap and I am pleased with the fast shipping and quality of the products.
