Germaben II is a liquid broad spectrum preservative system. The active ingredients have been solubilized in propylene glycol. This allows them to be added to formulations with incredible ease. Germaben II-E is ready-to-use in any product with more than 25% Oil content. This makes it ideal for any product high in oil content. Our wholesale Germaben II - E is heat sensitive which means it should be added to the water phase or to the emulsified portion of the formulation at a temperature of no greater than 138°F or below. Adding Germaben II - E above 138°F could result in a compromised preservative system in your product.This preservative is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. Recommended use levels: 0.5 - 1%. Appearance: Clear viscous liquid INCI: Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Methylparaben (and) Propylparaben.

I have used this preservative for my body butter's and have been very satisfied. I found the product description to be really helpful in making my choice. I have reordered so i can keep it on hand. I pleased that I was able to use from a seller I was already using for my oils.

More Than 25%
I purchased this product after shopping around for a good preservative that would prevent me from having to use additional preservatives for additives. I had already had some knowledge of Germaben but I knew that Germaben ii would work better for what I needed it for. My purchase was valuable to me because to date, I haven't been able to find any natural products that are effective enough to use such as vitamin E or other non-preservative extracts. I was also satisfied when reading up on Germaben testing for cancer upon learning that none of the test subjects tissue samples were read for use of Germaben prior to their diagnosis this was extremely good news being that for sales in certain instances preservatives are not optional. So I am satisfied with my purchase and the contribution that I feel it will make towards a mold and bacteria free product without them customer having to wonder about what's being offered to them.
