Pure Bentonite clay is known for it's excellent oil absorption properties. Our natural bentonite clay has a particle size: 80% smaller than 74 microns, 40% smaller than 44 microns.
Pure Bentonite Clay
Bentonite clay, is considered by many as a healing clay and has been widely used. When applied to the skin, it is thought to absorbs toxins and poisons that get trapped in the skin. The clay typically originates from the mountainous Wyoming region and mined directly from the earth. It’s coloring can range from light gray to off-white with little to no odor. It’s filled with minerals and is considered by many to have a shelf life of 4-5 years. It is important to note that Bentonite clay is not suitable for ingestion. This is a natural product from the earth that is known to contain lead.
Most Common Uses (For research purposes only. Uses below are NOT recommendations for use by Bulk Apothecary, rather information compiled from sources like Wikipedia):
Sealant- Outdoor areas such as ponds, dams and ditches can be sealed using the product. It will prevent toxins and waste from dripping into the area being used.
Crayons- The clay is used in making crayons and binding the ingredients together to make a strong colorant.
Drilling- When mixed with other ingredients, the product is used in a drill string for the oil and gas drilling industry.

Excellent clay at the greatest price!
After much study of the use of clay and after paying $10 for a pound in health stores, this is by far the best deal this side of the Atlantic! I soak my feet in a container of warm water with one-fourth cup of clay. They must warn against internal use by law but I take a tablespoon of clay with a teaspoon of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of apple cyder vinegar every day for intestinal and entire body cleanse on the inside! Best internal cleanse without side effects!! I bought the 50-pound bag! 25 stars! Share with family and friends!

Excellent value
Purchasing bentonite clay from beauty supply stores is so expensive it’s not even worth purchasing for the small amount you get, and they pre-load it with chemicals and oils so that the work is done, not realizing the whole purpose of using bentonite to treat your hair is to remove product buildup and harsh materials. This is the best deal I’ve ever seen on good quality clay.

I have been using essential oils to make personal care items for a while now, and wanted to try to incorporated bentonite clay to make a few more items. I cannot say enough good things about this clay! It is great quality, works wonderfully in shampoo; despite warnings from the site, I used it in homemade tooth powder as well (you spit it, so...). Shipping on their end is great (not my carrier's end, but that's a different story :) ), all of their products are superior quality. I have NEVER had an issue with the quality of their products!!
