Finally!
Bulk Apothecary finally has fine grain citric acid! I ordered a 1 lb bag to test it. I’ve had issues in the past from their course grain citric acid so I was a little skeptical. My batch of steamers turned out perfect. They are holding together perfectly and do not have a speckled look that I would get from the large grain. I’m so happy with this fine grain that I’m going to order 200 more pounds. The price is also great, considering the current price increases.

Good for Bath Bombs
This citric acid is a good price and makes great bath bombs. If you have trouble with the grain size, try grinding it. I find that grinding my CA gives me a foamier fizz and I don't have to add any of the other foaming type ingredients. Gives me a slower performance to really let the embeds shine

Good Price. HUGE Grains.
I tried ordering this Citric Acid from Bulk Apothecary because my usual supplier was out of stock and I had to make a huge batch on short notice. I was severely disappointed with the huge grain size that made my test batch of bath bombs with this barely fizz at all. My usual supplier carries powdered Citric Acid, so I knew this would be larger, but not to this extent. The grain size was larger than even the epsom salt crystals from the drug store. Even larger than my European Bath salt grains, which is saying a lot because they are huge. The grains range about 2-5mm large (I measured.) Luckily I found a hidden bag from my old supplier to make what I needed, because this was useless. Now I have a huge expensive bag of this that I don't know what to do with, as I don't have an industrial grinder, so I guess I wasted $200 on this. Really unfortunate because the price is much better than other suppliers. It's not worth the hassle unless you happen to have an industrial grinder to process this yourself. Then it's a great deal!

Got my product a few days ago!! Came exactly as described. There was some troubles with shipping but the good people with Bulk Apothecary helped me to figure it out!! Will be back to order again!!

Was panicking not being able to find citric acid. Hoped on bulk apothecary and found some. I don’t know what is different about this one but it fizzes longer in my bath bombs than previous supplies. Will definitely get from here again.

Does not work in my bath bombs, will use for fizzy dust!
This citric is more granulated vs.powder. My bombs would not bind at all. I gave 3 stars because it is an excellent price and im sure will perform well for other uses. I should have read the reviews or asked Bulk before I ordered so not their fault! It will also work fine for my fizzy dust:)

Not good for bath bombs
Like some of the other users, we found this product to be a poor choice for making bath bombs. We certainly liked the price, but we had to go with another supplier who provides "powder" as opposed to "granulated". We need the much finer version of citric acid. (Three stars because, while it is useless to us, it could be a quality product for a different purpose.)

Didn't have such good luck using this for bath bombs and steamers
The granules are too large. My recipes literally fell apart. This doesn't necessarily mean that the product is bad, its just not a good fit for my purposes. It placed me in a bind with orders rolling in and I had to rush ship from an emergency source while I waited on a larger 50lb order from a new source. I gave this 3 stars because the granules aren't addressed in the write up and should be.
