Sodium Lactate 60% (SL)
Sodium lactate is a natural humectant, moisturizer and pH regulator. For lotion replace the liquid glycerin with sodium lactate, in cold process soaps use up to 1/2 ounce per lb of fats to harden the finished soap bar. Produced from renewable resources and completely biodegradable makes sodium lactate a better choice when moisturization is desired. Studies have shown sodium lactate to be a better short term and long term moisturizer than glycerin.
Note: Our Sodium Lactate is Cosmetic Grade and not recommended for internal use.

first time to use this product
I just made a charcoal teatree facial CP bar and used this product for the first time to make a harder bar. It worked wonderfully and I will be now using this natural product in all my soap making!

Great product!
I use this in my cold process soap and was pleased with the results. I purchased the small 16oz. size as a little goes a long way. It arrived in a plastic bottle with a lid that only require a press of a thumb or finger to open.
