A new favorite!
This is a light, pleasant fragrance, smells floral and powdery, very feminine. It behaved well n cold process soap. Would also be a great fragrance for lotions and other products.

pretty
A charming floral scent. Smells more of violets than Iris, but I'm not complaining, as this is nearly always the case with scents labeled 'iris'. You will have to look elsewhere for a truly orris root based fragrance, but at this price, who's complaining?! Very pretty for what it is.

Pretty!
This is not orris root or the scented iris my great grandmother used to grow. Not surprised - I understand they can be very difficult to duplicate. But it is a lovely scent, which smells mostly of fresh, dewy VIOLETS! Nice. :D

I have been working on a Signature Fragrance for my granddaughter for 2 years. I have the first 3 scents, they blend beautifully, BUT!! The fragrance needed something that would say, "my girl!", not just run of the mill, so to speak. I got a .5 oz sample of Iris, and just for the heck of it, I put in a splash or two. And, finally, my Sammy Stargazer came together. It added the depth I needed for the fragrance I was trying to create!
"light of heart, yet depth of soul" fragrance I was aiming for. And as usual, you can always count on B. A. to give you top quality fragrance oils. -
