Just wanted to put it in a review, because I didn’t see it until I called customer service. This is a BODY WASH. Apparently you can add stuff to it to make it a shampoo, and I might just be too new to this to understand the difference. But other websites are selling shampoo products that are actually shampoo products (I.e. have different ingredients than a body wash) this does not have that. And it does state that this is just a body wash at the end of the description, but I didn’t see that until I bought 2 gallons of body wash essentially. The body wash is fine? It’s definitely more of a shower gel. It was a disappointing first and last buy from Bulk Apothecary :(

This is the best unscented base shampoo I've ever tried, finally finding one at that. I really like the fragrance oils that I add to it, not only does it cleans it softens the hair even though it is a clarifying agent. I highly recommend!

I have been using this shampoo/body wash for several years and I love it. If your are not going to sell it any longer, let us know. You've been out of it for a long time. Why? When you have the big drums, don't you break them down into gallons? Come on.

Been using this shampoo base for a year now, and I have been more then happy with it.
I have long hair that goes past my back. Store shampoo's were making my hair fall out. I switched to this shampoo and ever since, my hair has stopped falling out. I also buy the conditioner. it's good too!

I purchased this at the same time as the unscented shower gel / body wash. Guess what? It's the exact same thing, just different label! Well, I added a few drops of oil and the same thing happened as it did with my other product...turned creamy white and then after 2 days had separated. But this does clean well, doesn't dry out my hair, and makes it very affordable. I just wish I knew how to keep it from separating.

When this was out of stock I was quite upset . I love this shampoo/ body wash. It is great for adding your own special scents. I’ve gift d this quite often everyone love it. I use to spend $15-20 on shampoo and more on body wash. No more . Bulkapothecary is the best

I prefer the other base but this one seems to work well, I added my ingredients and it still lathered well.
I will be ordering this and the shampoo base again.

I love this unscented shampoo/body wash, it's great for the price. I can't use any fragrances or I break out in hives. I've tried the Stephenson brand, but it doesn't lather well, I end up using more and it costs much more. The only problem is they have been out of the gallons for 7 months now. Why not take one of those 55 gal drums that you have in stock and fill some gallon jugs for me? If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars.

I read every single review before purchasing, so in that, all negative reviews included, I must say I am not disappointed what so ever.
I was reserving review until I saw consistency through actual use. I purchased the green cosmos bottles and used 6 drops BA's fragrance oil and it did not change the base at all that I could notice anyway. One pump from that bottle does my hair and I have hair halfway down my back. Very cost efficient this base will be. The men, having short hair found they only used a slight pump, not full, as they felt they were wasting the product. It lathers so well!
It leaves hair squeeky clean,you can feel it and hear it, and I found with the ingredients, it delivers! Rinses very well, conditions really well as the length of my hair, conditioner has aways been a must! Not anymore, combs out easily, leaves a nice shine and my hair is soft! I have some gray hair, and it does not feel brittle nor dry at all as other shampoos and even using conditioners always left me primarily unhappy. I do not spend the mega prices for such things but settle for middle of the road brands and certainly not the cheapest brands either. I have so much less breakage now too! If you do not try, your loss, but reserve your decision on conditioner until after you try at least a couple weeks. I personally find no need for it what so ever and am grateful for that finally. I am so impressed by the results and the concentration. I would suggest you should not hesitate to try and just order the gallon as I did and save money via shipping from the get go. Was delivered promptly, was packaged well and no negatives what so ever. I was hesitant to purchase gallon but so glad I did as this was the first time ever ordering from BA and I am now looking forward to a great relationship and hold no qualms about them now. I go for the gold!
