Good Base When Leaving Some In
This is a good natural option for a Conditioner Base, though I find it not quite moisturizing enough. As instructions say, you may want to only partially rinse it out. I also add a good quality oil - such as argan - along with Essential Oils and then it's just perfect!

Best Conditioner Base
I make a cleansing conditioner out of this, and I generally need to add a scant Tsp or so of almond oil to the mixture to really moisturize. In general, this stuff behaves well, keeps well, and mixes well without "swallowing" fragrance. I love it and will be back for more when I run out.

My coily, kinky hair loves it!
My combination 4A, 4B, 4C kinky, coily curls love the Stephenson Organic Conditioner. I usually add 1-2 tablespoons carrier oil and a few drops of essential oil to 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup Conditioner. I use the Stephenson brand in several ways.
WASH N GO: I layer the conditioner with gel and since the product is concentrated, only a little is need for my Wash n Go. I've not experience any flaking, frizz or dryness so far.
STYLING CREAM: I use it for Single-strand, or Double-strand twists, twist-outs, or to slick back my hair in a ponytail.
EXCEPTIONAL MOISTURISER: For added moisture, I sometimes mix it with another conditioner that has BTMS-50 (rapeseed oil) and it leaves my hair moisturise, shine and beautiful for days. This conditioner has become a staple and I hope BA doesn't stop carrying it. Thanks for a great product. -
The Best Conditioner
My first time buying this base and MY HAIR LOVES IT better than than the other Unscented Conditioner Base. The Stephenson Brand conditioner leaves my kinky, coily curls shiny, soft, healthy and happy. Plus moisturised for days! I usually mix it with a carrier oil, an essential oil and herbal extracts. I have even had awesome Wash-n-GOs where I layered the conditioner with ECCO Style Gel without flaking and buildup. I will continue buying this base as long as Bulk Apothecary brings it. Thanks BA for another great product.

I purchased this hoping it would work well for me. The first time I used it it didn't really help with tangles and hair seemed rather dry. I came back to the website and re-read the info about this conditioner. Missed the part about only washing it out partially for normal to dry hair. Only partially rinsed the second time and I love it! Scented it with herbal essences oil the first batch. Made another today with country apple. Will def purchase again! LOVE the organic option. Thank you!!
