I'm not sure why I was expecting a scent closer to vanilla when I got this but it's much more sweet and sugary than your simple vanilla bean. regardless of its sweetness it can still be mixed with a lot of other fragrances to create a unique scent. I still love it even though its not the warmer vanilla I expected!

The smell did not come through on my CP soap. Colored a beautiful medium yellow gold tint but smelled bad. I love the scent though so I will use it in my other products and continue to order. I recommend it highly, just not for CP soap.

This is my favorite scent. I use this in a Buttercream whipped soap recipe from this website. It uses this and a coconut fragrance oil. It is a big hit with my customers. It smells just like buttercream frosting and you are tempted to taste it:) It does discolor my soap with the melt and pour base ,so I only use it in the whipped shaving soap.
