Our Chocolate Flavor is great to add to all of your lip balms and confectioneries. Our pure flavor is top quality and tastes great. Please note, we do not add sweetener to any of our flavors purposely to extend the shelf life on them.
Suggested Usage Rates
- Melt & Pour Soap: 1-1.5%
- Cold Process Soap: 1-5%
- Shampoo: 0.5-1.5%
- Conditioner: 0.25-2%
- Body Wash: 0.5-1.5%
- Face Wash: 0.2-1%
- Bubble Bath: 0.5-1.5%
- Bath Salts: 0.4-1%
- Lotion: 0.25-2%
- Lip Balm: 2-5%
- Soy Candles: 6-10%

Looking for Flavor
Though most of the reviews speak of fragrance, I was looking for flavor because that is what it is. I was making a small batch of lip balm and used the ice cream and chocolate flavors. Unfortunately, it did not taste at all like chocolate/ice cream. May have a bit of a chocolate smell, but I was looking for flavor from flavor. Maybe I need more?

Alone it didn't smell like much but when I mixed it with Birthday Cake....WOW! It was like brownie batter on my lips.

Smells Awesome
I used this with wildcraft coconut. Smells like Baileys or some chocolate liquor. Love it and my customer too.

Chocolate Aroma
I didnt care for the chocolate. It didnt smell like chocolate. It smelled more like a vanilla bean aroma to it. I will try it and see, in the near future.

Very Chocolatey
I didn't have any issues with separating in my lip balm. It smells just fantastic.

Water Based Instead of Oil Based
I didn't realize at first that this was a water based scent but then it separated from the oils I was mixing for lip balm. I stirred it the entire time it was cooling & then spooned it into my jars. It turned out good & did not separate again. In the previous batch I made, I had included shea butter, which may have helped bind the products because that batch didn't separate. The scent seemed pretty mild compared to others--such as the strawberry scent I also purchased here.
