They are also perfect for evaluating blends and fragrances you craft for personal care or aromatherapy formulations by using two test strips, each with a different aromatic applied, allowing you to craft your scents with precision. Assess the aroma immediately upon application and monitor changes in the aroma over time, including the evolving top, middle, and base notes.

How to Use:

• Prepare:
• Choose a well-ventilated area.
• Write the fragrance name on the paddle end of the strip.
• Bend the other end about 2 inches (5 cm) from the end.
• Apply (choose an application method):
• Spray: Apply fragrance to the unlabelled end.
• Droplets: Drop oil onto the unlabelled end.
• Dip: Submerge unlabelled end briefly in the container.
• Assess:
• Hold the bent, fragrance-free end.
• Fan the scented end in front of your nose.
• Note initial top notes, evolving middle notes, and base notes.
• Time Evaluation:
• Observe changes in the fragrance over time (e.g., 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, several hours).
• Record Observations:
• Keep a record of scent characteristics, including note development and changes.
