As delightful as an orchard in the spring, this scent is a fresh combination of ripe, red apples, creamy blossoms, and hints of delicate gentle spices.

Country Apple (BBW Type) Fragrance Oil has been tested for the following applications: Candle Making, Soap, and Personal Care Applications such as Lotion, Shampoo and Liquid Soap. –Please Note – This fragrance may also work in countless other applications. The uses above are simply those products that we lab tested this fragrance in. For other uses, it is recommended to test a small amount prior to full scale use. Great Soap Smell
Just reordered!
I know others here have suggested NOT using this for cp soap.... but I had a good batch I made 2 years ago. The details are a little fuzzy now, but I don't think it seized. (Or I definitely wouldn't have nice little green bars of soap.) I do think you can help prevent seizing a bit by mixing the fragrance into a little carrier oil (withhold some from the batch) and mixing carefully (not with a stick blender). Slowing trace by using fewer solid oils and a cooler temperature can help too. I like to add extra water so that I can swirl color and such, but I'm not sure if more water slows trace. I also used a PVC pipe as a mold, so I could just dump it right after the fragrance was added. Perhaps that helped? And I always add fragrance last, (after colorants and clays): as late as possible.
It does smell awesome! It's one of the only fruity smells I can get to linger (it is "brighter" than the wildberry or cucumber melon, although those are also favorites). I still have a couple bars 2 years later, and they still smell faintly of apple. (Which is amazing because they've been stored in a cardboard box with 12+ other kinds of soap.) -

Do not use in cold process soap making
Great scent. Seizes in cold process soap. I hadn't seen anything to indicate it wouldn't work in soaping and tried it. Epic fail and rebatching it was not successful. I learned the hard way with a very large batch. Otherwise it is a great product.

I love the smell
I love the smell of this FO, however every time I try to use it in cold process it seizes my soap! Even when I soap at lower temps, I'm so bummed.
