OK, not my favorite
I bought this because I was tired of waiting for the goat milk to be back in stock. I expected this creamy color but its very clear when you melt it down (not a problem, I can work with that) but was surprised at how soft this is even after its set. 3 hours later in small molds it was easy to press with my finger and 8 hours later when I removed it from the silicone molds the edges were easy to push in. Not thrilled with it, but I don't hate it. I wouldnt recommend it for detailed molds. Great for those who can't have any nut products though so I will keep it in stock for those clients.

Holds color well, lather 7out of 10
Just started experimenting with melt & pour soap bases. Regarding colors.. So far I've added turmeric, coffee and they all took well. Added essential oils, but unlike the color they didn't retain the smell. Soap base has a"waxy" smell to it which still comes through after it's set. Melts well (I cut into cubes and do 30 second intervals in microwave and stir until melted. Holds shape once it's cured (1/2 hr in fridge)Added oatmeal to a few and it kept suspended evenly in bar.

A great natural soap base!
This is a great product. In fact, I love it. I've been making melt and pour soap for years, and was looking to create a high lather soap that would perform well with the addition of oils and butters - not usually recommended for MP soap, but there is always a way around these things with a little experimentation, especially as I'm not into CP soap making (I just cannot stand the smell of lye).
Mixed with foaming bath butter this soap base produces a wonderful amount of lather with the addition of those oils and butters.
I'm glad to have found a quality supplier of soap products and fragrance oils. Happy customer indeed!

Makes a soft soap
I've made a couple different types of soap with this base, and adding any extra oil makes the soap greasy. I had to remelt it with more base.

Very good especially for people with allergies.
I am allergic to nuts, coconuts and sulfate. This is the only soap that does not give me hives. My skin feels clean and clear of blemishes. I just cut off pieces and use. Good price for what could be considered a speciality item.
